The use of this digital dial shall enable all programming functions including individual manual station on/off, semi-auto manual functions and programmable manual station on/off. All controller functions shall be housed in a plastic case made for indoor applications only. The controller shall have two separate openings on the underside of the lower cover, one for AC power and the other for remote control and sensor wires as needed. The time of day, day of week, month and year along with all programmed information shall be stored in a non-volatile lithium battery. A 9-volt battery can be used for “Armchair Programming ” when AC power is not connected and powers the display during power outages. All plastic indoor models of the DDC controller series shall have a manufacturer’s limited warranty of two years from date of installation. The controller shall have three independent programs that are “stacked ” or run sequentially. Each independent program shall have 3 separate start times with station run times from 1 minute to 4 hours in one-minute increments. Each program shall also have a choice of one of three modes of active watering days. These modes shall be: 1) 1-7 calendar days, 2) odd/even interval and 3) 1-7 day interval. The controller shall have a 365 day-a-year calendar for true unattended odd/even day programming and automatic leap-year compensation. The end user will be required to establish the year, month of the year, day of the month and time of day as part of the initial programming set-up.
