Decompression valve: The valve is to reduce the pressure in the cylinder and make starting easier. You should always use the decompression valve when starting the machine. Ignition; choke: Set the choke control in the choke position. This should automatically set the stop switch to the start position. Visual check. Symbols in the operator’s manual: Switch off the engine by moving the stop switch to the STOP position before carrying out any checks or maintenance. Always wear approved protective gloves.
